The Connected Home Project: Building the Home of the Future
An interview with John Henderson, Richard C. Shipley Professor of Information Systems/Faculty Director, BUILDE
"We've asked, what would the services and processes look like if the home was an information hub, and not just the place that you lived? We began to think about the home as more than a physical reality. It's a source of personal identity, a force that binds the family together. And it's an information hub. Quite remarkable types of information come together with respect to the lives of family members. So we became very interested in the question, what will be the role of the home of the future, and what will it look like?"
Looks like someone is else is doing something similar to my own research. Will be interesting to see how their research progresses and whether they have similar results that I do...
